Reports to: Vice President Sales

Job Description

As a member of the sales team, the Account Executive will be responsible for driving business by actively selling the complete ChainDrive solution. Your goal is to develop and grow business opportunities within new accounts as well as maintain and upsell solutions to our existing clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Achieve and surpass annual sales quotas
• Prospecting, cold calling and generating leads and opportunities
• Leveraging your network to help you drive business
• Maintaining a healthy sales funnel for future years
• Develop and maintain customer relationships with prospects and existing customers
• Take ownership of the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal
• Execute on Executive level presentations, proposals, RFI / RFP responses
• Attend trade shows and exhibits
• Correctly maintain all activities in the CRM system
• Available to travel as needed
• Maintaining complete knowledge of all of ChainDrive's offerings
• Constantly maintaining a high level of industry and competitor knowledge

Desired Skills & Experience

• 3+ years sales experience, preferably in Retail Software
• Retail Industry experience and knowledge in Retail Software an asset

Business Analyst – Retail Software

Multidev Technologies is the developer of ChainDrive™, a leading, fully-integrated retail management system. Due to growth, we are currently seeking a dynamic, motivated Business Analyst for a permanent opportunity within the Professional Services Team.

Responsibilities

• Play an active role in new client implementations
• Be the focal point between the client, the developers, the sales and management
• Handle multiple client requests
• Manage testing, documentation and delivery of all new system functionality and enhancements
• Work directly with clients to maximize their usage of the system
• Train client personnel on system functionality
• Responsible to create and update a project plan, monitor daily project progress, follow-up with client on tasks, internal resource management during project, make decision that will not affect the scope, schedule and cost of the project and propose solution options

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of retail business processes.
• 5+ years experience with retail systems.
• Experience with ERP systems an asset.
• Flexible working hours based on project.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, primarily in English.
• Computer skills: MS Office
• University degree in Information Technology or Commerce

Junior Programmer/Technical Analyst

Description:

We are in search of a candidate who is looking for a new challenge. If you are an autonomous, team player and have the demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently manage problems by phone and/or using remote methods then this position is for you.

Responsibilities:

The Junior Programmer/Technical Analyst will have to perform the following duties:

• Provide technical support (installation, configuration, modifications, replying general queries) either by phone and/or using remote connection.
• Guide the user in a professional and courteous manner while finding solutions of the problem
• Consult with clients on best practices, including process improvement and documentation
• Manage, document and perform client software upgrades/installations
• Write applications which handle data to and from a relational database
• Write and design custom controls and user interfaces to deliver usable applications
• Expected to learn the system within 6 to 12 months and join the development department
  

Requirements:

• English (spoken and written), French (spoken and written)
• College or University degree in Computer Science or in relevant discipline
• Knowledge of Delphi is favorable but not a pre-requisite
• Experience developing object oriented software
• Experience with SQL database design and development
• Knowledge of retail software and/or retail process is an asset
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience developing and/or supporting software
• Available to work occasionally on flexible hours and on call
